/ Decoding K-pop Album Covers


To investigate the dynamics of K-pop album cover designs and their cross-cultural influence, focusing on the impact of Western design on K-pop albums and vice versa.

My research comprises of two components:
01/ K-pop Album Taxonomy Research
Firstly, I analyzed album cover designs in Korea by categorizing them, and presenting the findings as a publication.
Secondly, I explored the similarities between American and Korean album cover designs, presenting my research in the form of a video essay.
