Phir Se Dekh Co. (Look Again Collective) is a community-led initiative that reimagines fashion as something to be shared, not owned. Born from the idea that conscious consumption should feel social, accessible, and exciting, it connects students who want to borrow clothes, swap styles, and discover local designers together. Through simple tools, a door hanger that signals participation and a website that helps people connect, the project builds small communities of trust and creativity in university dorms. It’s about making sustainability a lived, joyful habit rather than a distant ideal.Phir Se Dekh Co. takes inspiration from the everyday systems of sharing that have always existed in India. From self-help groups built on trust to the habit of borrowing clothes from relatives or neighbours, rural life has long practiced what we now call “conscious living.” The project simply brings those values into a modern, student setting. Visually, it borrows from things that already feel familiar, fruit and vegetable carts, mismatched cloth covers, and the bright chaos of local markets.
