/ Swift

This is an interactive publication designed to guide readers through the process of analyzing and reconstructing a single character from a specific typeface, Swift. Delivered in the form of a newspaper, the project invites users to engage with typography through observation, deduction, and hands-on design.

The first page presents a series of visual clues and step-by-step instructions, encouraging users to examine the details and underlying structure of the typeface. Rather than explicitly naming the font, the layout allows readers to infer its qualities by piecing together contextual hints. Once they’ve attempted to recreate the alphabet, they can flip to the second page, which features my research and a detailed analysis of the typeface—offering an opportunity to compare, reflect, and better understand the intricacies of typographic design.
